1971 Dodge Charger - $23,995 - Frisco, TX - 1971 Dodge Charger 500, 48k original miles, numbers matching. Located in sunny dry Dallas, TX. You are looking at my gorgeous 1971 Charger 500 that has been lovingly maintained and restored in the warm dry Texas climate. This is a true rust-free car and the mileage is believed to be original. The fender tag is intact and has been decoded. This is an original 383 car, numbers matching. All the paperwork comes with the car, including the original owner’s manual.
To my knowledge, the car has its original numbers matching blue-block 383 engine, which started life with a 2bbl carburetor. For drivability and fun factor, a Carter 4bbl carburetor and Edlebrock intake have been added. There are no other modifications to the car.
I have spent several thousand dollars on this car to bring it back to its former glory. Everything operates properly. What started as a nice solid no rust accident free car is now a head turning MOPAR muscle machine! The car still wears its original color, and has been repainted one time by the previous owner who has since passed away. NO RUST ANYWHERE!
Over the past month I have done the following work, all completed by professionals. I will provide all the receipts to the new owner:
· New aluminum OEM style radiator (original radiator will be included in the sale), special order and very difficult to find
· New transmission cooler (Texas is very hot, you will appreciate this)
· New vacuum hoses and radiator hoses
· New Vacuum advance, carburetor tune and carburetor clean
· New Brake Booster and Master Cylinder (brake bleed and test as well)
· New 15” OEM Rallye rims with center caps and trim rings
· New tires (full warranty from Discount Tire)
· New OEM Headliner from Year One
· New OEM Carpets from Year One
· New OEM rear-view mirror (still have the old one, it will come with the car)
· Professional Cut/wax buff and detail of paint
· Full professional interior and engine detail
· Back seat and front seats are original and as new
· Glass is perfect and all original
· Rallye stripes are original to the car and perfect
· Original AM/FM radio still works!
· Decoded fender tag documentation as well as all other documentation comes with the car. Fender tag is original and intact
This is a beautifully cared for 43 year old car. It is a solid and reliable awesome head-turning show or go car that will be a huge hit and win trophies at your local car show. It runs flawlessly, and doesn’t pull or smoke (no leaks either). The sheet metal is original. All of the gauges work properly. The horn works, the heater works, and there are no hidden issues that I am aware of. The trunk is also dry and rust free. This is an honest turn-key car.
