1970 Plymouth Road Runner - $49,000 - Wilmington, MA - 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Hemi, originally an Alpine White 383 auto w/102,464 miles bought in 1999., Now a resto-mod white pearl metallic, black six pack hood, rear spoiler wing, 528ci/610hp alum headed crate Hemi w/5spd Tremec pistol grip manual and bucket seats. Has new suspenion, 4 wheel Wilwood discs, stainless lines everywhere, 3:73 Moser 60 w/ Detroit Locker. Dash and steering restored with new parts, tictoc tach, new hardware inside and out. Have some original and extra parts incl. steel hood, bench seat, shop manual, etc. Stopped counting at $75k, more invested. Always stored in heated garage, rarely driven, never raced, picked up a couple trophies from Mopar local events in modified class.Less than 2k miles on complete rebuild. Um, that car has no torsion bars... so, exactly what's holding the lower control arms in place?! :eek:

Damned shame there's just so much to hate about a car that is so close to pretty (lose that horrifying hood and put the stocker back on it). Garbage intake and butt-ugly air filter assembly, "I-wish-I-was-a-Tuff Wheel", shitbird flex extensions on the headpipes, the aforementioned suspension woes... I don't doubt the money is there, but obviously the knowledge & care were left in his other pants.
