1970 Plymouth Duster - $18,900 - Grand Rapids, MI - GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this super cool 1970 Plymouth Duster with a pro street set-up. It is finished in Detonator Yellow with a Black interior complete with racing bucket seats, a 6-point roll cage, removed back seat, Auto Meter gauges (monster tach, fuel, amps, fuel pressure, and water temp), a Sony stereo system, and a fire extinguisher.
Under the hood is a 340ci V8 making 425hp via a Holley 750cfm 4 barrel carb, Holley fuel pump, Hooker headers, a 480 lift cam with 292 duration and a 109 LSA, Milodon valve covers, almuminum radiator, and MSD ignition. This bad little buggy is in outstanding condition and everything works correctly as it should. It's surprisingly fuel efficient too and burns 8.5 gallons over 70 miles at 75mph. Over the last 10 years, the car has only been to cruise nights and car shows. There are also over $6,500 in receipts in performance parts and updates. This car looks cool and sounds great with its thundering cam lope can back it up too with 425hp! Grab it now!

8.2 mpg is considered efficient ??

This thing is what's known as a "poser" It's got the decals and a few fiberglass parts to appear as 'pro-street' but nothing to back it up. And when's the last time you saw a Kenwood in a pro-streeter?

Horrible fate for a real 340 car.

The only thing "pro street" about the decals is the ones that actually spell it out. This thing was obviously concocted by some half-wit with more money than brains. It looks like something a 16-year-old thought up in 1979... just throw decals and contrasting paint anywhere, never mind continuance or thought. Put a K-Mart radio holder in a spot to damage a passenger's knees when there's a perfectly good spot in the dash for it, covered by a "racing" block-off plate. Jack up the ass end so traction goes in the shitter and the front end wears more quickly. A totally-unnecessary and ineffective (no return bypass) fuel-pressure regulator on a dual-feed vacuum-secondary Holley sitting on a fucking dual plane?! Have a friend whip up a cheese-dick fan shroud, because you've still got decals left after cursing the exterior and interior. Whatever you do, don't replace that water-damaged door panel, because that gives it character.

8MPG is fucking atrocious for that combination. That's around what I got with my 440 Six Pack in a much heavier car... stuck in 2nd gear, which is the equivalent of highway driving with a 5.38:1 rear gear.
