1970 Plymouth Cuda - $115,000 - Westfield, NJ - If you were are this year's Chryslers at Carlisle, you may have noticed thisCudakeep cool under an In Violet sununderneath the RMS Suspension booth right on the Manufacturer's Midway. The1969 date coded 426 Cubic InchHEMI was built by Pete Tritak of Tritak Performance of War Wagon and Car Craft Hemi Cuda drag racing fame. The car was built by a fellow Jersey boy, Joe Pardo, who runs a body shop by day and creates some of the slickest Pro-Street and Pro-Touring beasts by night. Joe is no shade tree mechanic, the workmanship and parts-matching talents rival any national show circuit car we've seen. Stunning, tasteful, and goes like hell, his 30+ years of building and racing experience show in both the design and execution of this beautiful beast. She has a full coil-over suspension on all four corners, RMS Alter-K-tionup front and their four-link Street Lynx out back. Wilwood four wheel disc brakesprovide the stopping power, Boze Forceforged wheels get the power to the street. Spent fuel vapors is expelled courtes of a full 3" dual exhaust. The engine bay looks mainly stock appearing with a few allowances for artistic licence, the correct set of lug wires are now in the car, but didn't make it in time for the photo shoot. The shaker hood has a cleaner look than stock original with the simple ommision of the perimeter gasket.
