."

In 1970 the California built Cuda's came into the world fighting a no paper trail policy. Our California plant strongly resisted Broadcast sheets or Build Sheets. Here you have a pre-sold California build 'Cuda with rare broadcast sheet in pristine condition. Broadcast sheets may be the norm back east, but not out west. 2.) Combine this rare west coast build with a rare broadcast sheet
Any barn find of a 'Cuda is truly exciting with elevated pride in ownership. Clearly, finding the diamond of them all still original as equipped, a loaded 'Cuda six barrel shaker coupe still appearing like new without seeing a barn, field or mouse... generated the fantastic appraisal by professional Jerry R. Henderson. This car was rare when built reaching ultra rare in present condition. So rare it took weeks not days to research. Another equal was not found. After reviewing everything this 'Cuda will surpass any other 440- 6 shaker coupe available.
This 'Cuda hasn't gone through multiple owners inviting hearsay.. No professionals other then the Professional appraiser, and no cover ups. Disclosure is un-matched due amazing preservation attained by two close friends. We were also high school friends. The superior condition of this car is seen within inches and the proverbial 20 feet. Viewing is stunning from any angle or distance. 3.) Two close friends attained a world record appraisal at $350,000
Immediate dealer installed trailer hitch. Pick up your "drag car" or classic boat in style. Unrestored, low mileage, clear history.. another 'Cuda will fall suspect on comparison. Could this coupe stand alone? When your vehicle identification (v.i.n.) number includes BS23VOE having the world record appraisal nothing else compares. 4.) Only known immediate dealer installed hitch on a six barrel 1970 'Cuda shaker coupe to pull your collectibles effortlessly
What a mind blower. No need for restoration here with this survivor. 5.) Put your restoration wallet away... you won't need it

Disclosure at the highest level. The kind of disclosure you expect with a world class offering. Accept nothing less.
This engine was resealed not rebuilt guarding against all future oil leaks. Used 'shelf trophy' an exact factory new old stock (n.o.s.) Mopar purple shaft six barrel cam with identical lift, grind, and duration,.
Why is it so important to retain the original cam? They are said to be hand picked for the six barrel 'Cuda in 1970. A factory employee went through cams looking for the few machined cams that were already lukily balanced. These few cams then met additional high standards to become hand picked for the 1970 'Cuda 440 six barrel. So yes, the factory cam is a big deal when retained.
The original exhaust system is restored with exact pipes and the all important one piece rear sections found on hemi and six barrel cars to include correct welds, resonators, mufflers, hangers. Exact visual appearance; exact stock sound, performance and date coded. It is unlikely the powers to be will fault this survivor 'Cuda over this type of exhaust renewing? Car will still make stock gold standard class.
Ongoing phone calls with first owner reminds me he bought this 'Cuda when 18 yrs old, not 19 yrs old like Hemmings article says. I was therefore 21 yrs old. The car averaged 42.5 miles a year over the last 16 years. This is a ram air car. Just pull the inside 'carb air' knob towards you. Pushing in closes off ram air. 8.) Reality over hearsay in your purchase
Factory stock & blistering fast right right from the factory. 9.) An unrestored 'Cuda that still looks new and runs like new
Pictures show after market trim rings and center caps. This born on car trim rings and center caps also come with car. The constant velocity (cv) joints in drive shaft are excellent originals. 10.) History and disclosure exactly to your high demands
Documents include (3) three purchase contracts. Unlikely another 'Cuda can claim three contracts? When ordering my friend reached out to New York from Calif and excluded our local dealership. Going around a dealership today is normal but it was not widely known in 1970. When ordering this way you then picked your delivery point? For reasons given below a southern California dealership away from home was selected. 11.) Three extensive contracts document the whole process
First contract ordered a green car with green bumpers. Broker "New York Compu-store" replied green bumpers weren't available. Second separate contract ordered FE5 rallye red with matching red bumpers and some more added options.
12.) A unique process... Customer orders from west coast checking all the right boxes. Broker on east coast places a west coast order while west coast customer instructs the point of delivery
Third extensive contract on letter head is the delivery contract of Culver City Chrysler Plymouth. Our local Dealership Iversen Motor Company wasn't always favored? With Iversen recently closing their doors following the Hemmings article it can be said by gentlemen, Culver City Chrysler Plymouth in southern California was pick up simply to avoid the local dealership. Click the magazine story below for more on delivery of this 'Cuda. Father and Son flew in to pick up car. 13.) Answers Hemmings article asking why delivery was not at our local dealership
All three contracts on separate letter heads specified a rallye dash completely missed by the factory in California. Were the employees smoking rope? Viewing the factory orders Culver City Chrysler Plymouth in southern California installed the rallye dash before delivery. Adding factory compliance documentation clearly on 3rd contract. 14.) Clear Documentation of a factory mistake on a growing list of first. Factory mistakes add value.
Incredibly my friend helped install his own rallye dash at the dealership before drive off. Try that with today's liability? Emails confirm his experience in his own words. Good chance the rallye dash experience is another first.
'Cuda remains 7 miles from original home in California. 15.) Few so close to home with the benefit of perfect central coast weather
This 440 six barrel shaker coupe was enfluenced by a Chrysler promotional 'Cuda back in 1970. Where is that gorgeous high profile promotional car that had race car drivers standing along both sides? The promotional Plymouth was FE5 red, over head console, one piece head liner; both red bumpers. The list continues... check, check, check, this Plymouth and the factory promotion Plymouth appear the same. The ordering of this rare coupe loaded to the lips was the result of wanting something special. But it turned out to be much more. 16.) That which inspired customer to load up on options amounted to an ultra rare experience.
Amazing powerful engine. No blow by or oil consumption. No oil drips to stain your climate controlled facility thanks to sealing.Sealing does not alter the engine internals plus benefit of no leaks. 17.) Rarely seen blistering fast factory released (hp) high performance 440-6 engine. The most original loaded 'Cuda six barrel shaker coupe available. 18.) Reality not hearsay separates this car from others.
Estimate 13.6 quarter miles at 103 mph on narrow poly glass tires. Between traffic lights or the open road this car is a monster. A healthy 1970 440-6 might approach the 12's with gears, slicks and excellent driver. 19.) The 'Cuda 440 six barrel shaker coupe is a legend. Many believe the actual horsepower was closer to 450 hp to get a 3800 pound car down the road that fast!
Remember in 1970 'six pack' meant a Dodge and 'six barrel' stood for Plymouth. Interchanging six pack has become the norm. 1970 was rated 390 h.p. while 1971 was rated 385 h.p.
Also, 1970 440-6 and hemi both advertised 490 ft lbs torque. But 440-6 makes maximum torque sooner then hemi. Early torque was king making 440-6 the car to beat. Mopars at their best. 20.) This high performance (hp) 440-6 engine lives up to the reputation
The importance of pure stock wasn't imagined back then and memories were made one race at a time as you pounded the competition and took names in your 440 six barrel torque monster.
Two guys beat the odds:
Unfavorable conditions over time would eventually produce a winner!... One stock 'Cuda no longer has an equal. You are viewing that 'Cuda and it's significance in ownership 21.) Confidence in knowing you bought the very best
Valvoline motor oil in 1970 and Valvoline today... Occasionally "cam guard" a product fighting acid formation in oil during managed storage with starts. Hard to argue with results. Engine is tight & explosive. 22.) Valvoline life of engine
Disclosure unlike any other is easy when the car is un-molested. True rarity, true condition, unique ordering & delivery, prized options, unique history, true low accurate mileage on penalty of perjury, lack of abuse, two owners, blue chip survivor grade Gold Standard stock class, awaiting first judging under your ownership. From our family to yours... enjoy!
Price negotiable.

If I had that kind of money I would buy a nice house with a big garage and build a clone and drive the wheels off of it. :vroom:

Uh, the repro cam he put in it is wrong. Also, why replace the original? What was wrong with it?

That "no paper trail" CA business is a total load of shit. The VIN number clearly shows the car's engine which would be the only mitigating factor in a CA build... and not all cars built in CA were intended to be sold there. The "rare" build sheet thing is total hooey. Also, what's the bullshit about "rare" E5 Rallye Red paint?! It was possibly the most-popular color for 'Cudas that year; in fact it was the feature color for the car.

I see a lot of rainbows, smoke, and mirrors but I don't think this car is what they claim. Clearly it's had at least one door repainted. I think a ton of effort went into making this car look like an insane survivor, but I don't believe it really is. If it were, $275,000 would have it gone rather quickly... but the guys in the know haven't snapped this one up, and it's pretty common knowledge that anyone with a car purported to be what they're saying here calls people like Govier, Badalson, Gibson, or Wellborn before offering it up to the general public. Either this seller didn't, or they passed. That says a lot.
