1970 Plymouth Barracuda - $82,500 - Charlotte, NC - This 1970 AAR 'Cuda is a true American classic muscle car that was produced in very limited numbers. This AAR 'Cuda is one of only 2,724 AAR 'Cudas ever produced, and adding to its rarity, it is 1 of only 179 produced in Lime Light green paint. Unique features of the AAR include a flat black fresh air fiberglass hood with locking pins, side exit exhaust, and strobe stripe graphics, which were some of the race car touches added to it from the factory. The heart of this stunning Mopar is a numbers matching 340 cubic inch 6-Barrell V8, that power is then routed through a 4-speed manual transmission and then on to the 8 3/4 rear axle. Inside the Cuda you will find a very clean interior finished in black vinyl with black carpet, and center stage is the quintessential pistol-grip Hurst shifter mounted in the center console. This car also features several options such as power brakes, bucket seats, and a wood grain console. This Cuda is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition and is ready to be enjoyed. This rare muscle car even graced the cover of a national magazine! Don't miss this chance to own a great example of a rare piece of Mopar history. $82,500 is a lot for an automatic car that was converted to a 4-speed. Yeah, I'd rather have a 4-speed too, but when you're talking value on a car like this, cutting is a very bad idea. It's also curious that the fender tag carries the E55 code (340-4V) when it should be an E56 (340-6V).

It honestly looks like Hendrick took yet another bath on a fake and is trying to do unto others as was done to him. I know the guy that built the '70 Malibu 307 coupe that Hendrick bought as a genuine 4-speed SS convertible. Don't like him, but I know him.
