1970 Plymouth AAR - $89,500 - Alabaster, Al - In 1970 there were 2744 AAR Cudas produced. Only 4% of them were Sassy Grass AARs to 110 total produced. This AAR is one of only 12 Sassy Grass Cudas in AAR registry. Which means, this is one of the most rare and sought after colors available. This Cuda just came out of a 2 year restoration with no expense spared and no detail overlooked. The Grill and Hood are original to the car and hood is painted in the correct Organasol paint. Under the hood, is the numbers matching 340 T/A engine with correct carbs, exhaust manifolds, air breather, and radiator. Also, original and restored, are wiper motor brake booster, FAST RATIO power steering box, with AAR pitman arm. Transmission is a warranty replacement with open and unstamped pad. Rear end is a 3:91 gear ratio and original to the car. Wheels are correct date coded 15 inch with original 1970 poly glass tires on rear axle. Front tires are new. Interior is fresh and beautiful. The original rally gauges have been rebuilt. Everything is new, even the seat belts were restored with correct tags sewn into them. Underneath the car is as nice as the rest of the car. Lower control arms are in Cosmoline paint. All springs and sway bars are natural as they should be with R.P.M. preservative, not paint. Mufflers are date coded and correctly painted as well. Rear drums were dipped and wheel wells were under coated with the correct materials using the correct tip in the exact pattern that the factory used.
