1970 Dodge Charger - Inquire - Lakeland, FL - Just arrived, this is beautiful custom Dodge Charger is a creation of one envisioned
but never built. High end, professional restoration with all proper bracing added
to provide stability as the top was removed. Custom removable Carson top
was built with easy bolt on/off for install or removal... enjoyed by the last owner,

Restoration was completed about ten years ago and looks fresh...

This car has a gorgeous dual stage repaint in Plum Crazy purple metallic.

Quite unique, but it just doesn't look right, :hmmm:....and it looks even worse with the top up. :doh:
 
It would've been easier and probably less expensive to do the tried-and-true "hang Charger sheetmetal on an existing B-body convertible" method. The reason it doesn't look right is because it has a package tray. That's not a convertible top. Convertible tops fold up from the trunk, this is a 1-piece, non-folding canvas roof panel. It comes off in one giant piece like the removable hardtop on a first-generation T-bird, which is why it looks like complete ass at the roof/quarter junction.

Again, they use the word "restoration". Sickening.
