1970 AMC AMX - Inquire - Bay City, MI - AMC’s little sports car that could grew up a bit in 1970. This “Go-Package” equipped 390 AMX is the real deal and restored better than new. The original 390 CID V8 engine pushes 325HP through the 3-speed automatic to the positraction rear end. The 1970 exclusive double wishbone front and rear leaf suspension handles the ride quality, and power steering puts you confidently in control, as does the power front disc brakes.
During the restoration the metal body was refinished in Big Bad Blue paint and the door, trunk, and hood gaps were aligned carefully allowing the black C-stipes to align perfectly. The rare wheels wear Polyglas Goodyear rubber with stainless trim rings and correct blue center caps. The polished side exhaust pipes are stunning.
The interior is finished in black and looks factory correct, except for removable aftermarket gauges which add oil pressure and engine temperature dial reading to complement the factory glow warning lights.
This 23,000 original mile AMX is one of just 901 390 automatics made in 1970. Compact muscle cars are rare, pristine restored examples like this are almost nonexistent so act now before it ends up in someone else’s collection.

It's got the numbers-matching valve cover!

"Inquire" always leads me to believe they've convinced themselves they've really got something worth much more than it actually is.

It looks like it's fresh out of the paint shop, I doubt if it's even been fired. :hmmm:
