1970 AMC AMX - $23,700 - Camano Island, WA - 1970 AMC AMX 390 Four Speed Car. Car was restored in 2006 including new paint, new interior (carpet, upolstry, rebuilt guages), rebuilt drive-train and rear end, new suspension, complete new exhaust including headers, electric fan, electronic ignition, new aftermarket wheels & tires. Car is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, leather interior, bucket seats with center arm rest, ram air, 390 engine, Borge Warner 4 speed. When restored hood was painted a flat black - from factor should have been body color. Miles on car are unknown, but miles since restoration (inlcuding engine rebuild) are less than 4,000 miles. I rate car a clean driver with high fun factor given its stout running 390, aggressive exhaust tone, 4 speed, and good looks.

Looks to be well done & maintained, and not priced insanely. :hmmm:
 
I gotta be honest, I really like this one. The black may not be correct, but damn if it doesn't work, particularly with the very-likable green. Same with the wheels. This seems like a pretty reasonable deal, especially if you show up with cash and knock a few grand off the price through haggling.
