1969 Plymouth Road Runner - $29,750 - Manitowoc, WI - All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance.
Here is a great old Mopar. This is a genuine 1969 RM-code Road Runner, complete with its numbers-matching 383ci engine. It has a stunning appearance curbside, but also runs like mad with its big-block power and automatic transmission.

This car has been through a restoration during which any rust issues were eliminated. Originally a code R6 Scorch Red car, it was repainted in a much more brilliant 1970 Rallye Red. The result looks fantastic and really has some pop. The Road Runner striping and graphics are a perfect complement to the color, and there is just the right amount of bling with new chrome throughout. The 15" wheels looks great too, with 215 tires in front and 245 in back.

The engine is the numbers-matching H-code 383, factory rated at 335 hp and a healthy 425 ft-lb of torque. It has been rebuilt to stock specifications and retains cast iron intake and exhaust manifolds. The Mopar electronic ignition is present as well. Not to be missed is the fully functional Air Grabber hood and matching air cleaner. The automatic transmission is a 727 Torqueflite which has also been rebuilt with a shift kit. The rear end is a Chrysler 8-3/4" setup. The entire drivetrain is in excellent working order and really launches this car down the road.

The black interior is typical no-frills Mopar. It is redone an in great condition, including the seat covers, carpet, door panels, and headliner. There is a working in-dash tachometer along with the Road Runner steering wheel ring, complete with the correct "Beep Beep" horn. The heater and wipers function properly as well, though the old Plymouth radio is just for looks. All lights work properly as well including the turn signals and backup lights.

The Road Runner represents one of the most desirable B-body cars, and it's easy to see why when you look at this one. With great lines and eye catching paint combined with raw power and stark accommodations, it really represents the muscle car era well. There isn't anything like it these days!
