1969 Jeep CJ5 - $15,000 - Black Hawk, CO - For sale is a 1969 Kaiser Jeep CJ5. It has 59,574 original miles and is an original Colorado vehicle. I have owned it for 2 years and have made many improvements, which are listed below. It has much of the original patina, but has been well taken care of and always garaged. It had the Buick Dauntless V6, which runs perfect.
Recent upgrades:

  • Recently repainted in newer jeep color of Rescue Green
  • New Mickey Thompson tires (31x10.5/15LT Load Range C)
  • All new upholstery
  • New leaf spring bushings (front and rear)
  • New steering stabilizer
  • New water pump
  • New dual exhaust and mufflers from headers back
This jeep also has the following features:

  • Original Buick V6 with headers
  • Front disk brakes
  • PTO driven Ramsey 8000 lb winch
  • Tow bar
  • Adjustable Rancho air shocks with in-cab controller
  • Limited slip front and rear axles (4:89 front and 4:88 rear)
  • WARN locking hubs
  • Padded dash and sun visors
  • GM steering column with tilt
  • Roll bar
  • Kay Line vinyl top and doors in excellent condition
  • Heavy duty front and rear leaf springs
  • Skid plate
  • Rear 15 gallon auxillary fuel tank
  • Additional gauges for battery, temp and aux fuel
The brakes and fluids are in great shape and this jeep is ready to go!

I actually kind of like this one. He might get close to asking if that's the steel tub it appears to be. It needs to lose a lot of the cheesy chrome crap like the headlight eyelids, bumpers, and tow bar. The junk shocks need to go, too. I like those wheels, and the early Mustang taillights are a neat custom touch.

For the love of all things Jeep, please stop calling it a Buick V6. You don't hear Range Rover owners talking about their Buick V8s, and in both cases the engines were exclusive to the make while they were using it (Rover still does in some capacity).
