WTF...im not used to seeing any body work between the top and the tail gate...what gives

I've only seen that a couple of times, and I'm not actually sure if it's factory but I think it is. It's a "trunk" for lack of a better term; just a weird styling option with the shorter soft top. It may be aftermarket, though.
