1968 Plymouth Road Runner - Auction - Raleigh, NC - To be OFFERED AT AUCTION at our Winter Raleigh Classic December 4th-5th 2015 - This exceptionally nice Road Runner has been recently traded in at Leith Chrysler in Southern Pines. It is as strong mechanically as it is cosmetically. Optional equipment includes power steering, power brakes, chrome rally wheels with B.F. Goodrich raised white letter tires, remote dual exterior chrome mirrors, “Voice of Road Runner Beep Beep” horn and high dollar Pioneer sound system with remote control. This beauty is truly a smooth and powerful joy to drive. The new owners will be very satisfied.

It is a nice car, but I think that they're going to be disappointed if they think that they're going to get rich auctioning a no-frills base Runner. :hmmm:

'68 Road Runners did not have the "Voice of the Road Runner" horn. Yes, it had the right sound but it was plain black and did not have the decal on it. The purple paint and decal were a '69 & later deal.

It looks like a pretty nice ride, no doubt. But there are better than 23,000 more just like it if not better option-wise (2-door sedans).
