1968 Plymouth Fury 3 - $10,900 - Granite Falls, NC - 1968 Plymouth Fury III 2 Door Fast Top

This Fury III looks as if its 1968 and you are at the Plymouth dealership. It is an original survivor car that has had only 3 owners since new and with only 55,048 miles showing on the odometer and its excellent condition, this is proof that all three owners really pampered this car!

The car has received one repaint over the rust free body of the original color of Ice Blue. The seats were reupholstered to the exact match of the original. The brakes, steering and suspension system were gone through as well.

The original 383 motor, torque flight transmission and rear end were serviced. A new timing chain, oil pump, water pump, electronic ignition and all belts and hoses were replaced on the 383 as well. All this was done to make sure there are many more years of trouble free miles and enjoyment in this Fury III.

When you turn the ignition, the Commando 383 instantly jumps to life and it idles like it should, which is smooth. With the new dual exhaust, it sounds really great as well. Once you jump behind the wheel, you realize what the goals were for the engineers at Chrysler to design and build the Fury with these outstanding qualities: Clean lines, luxury, comfort, quiet and smooth with lots of power. I would say they surpassed all of their goals as this car is a pleasure to drive and is ready to go anywhere, any time.

Mostly a nice car, and not priced insanely. I do think that it would look better a darker shade of blue though. :hmmm:

Yeah, I'm not big on the powder blue, but it is a pretty nice car. The price is a bit high, but considering what doesn't need to be done, and how hard that stuff can be to do on a Sea-body, it's not totally out of whack. 75% of asking would be a fair deal for everyone involved, but it someone really loved this ride I wouldn't kick them for popping $10K on it.
