Drop the price twenty large and you're still above the high end of the ballpark, Skippy. It's a hot rod with a lot of work to be sold for resto money, but this model wouldn't bring $30K with the best restoration ever.

Good Christ, those wheels are awful.

But it has a shiny intake, that gotta shave a good second in the quarter mile.

Am I weird for painting all of my aluminum intakes engine color? I also tape off the bay and accessories, and hit the engine during installation, so it blends.. I can't stand shiny shit under a hood.. Clean is fine, shiny just seems dumb.. and hot.

I can't stand raw aluminum intakes, or heads, unless the whole engine is raw aluminum. In those rare cases, I get a boner and shuffle away awkwardly.

I can only assume you're referring to one of these..

Or, one of these..

My mistake, the bottom engine was actually made out of plated steel, and only the head was alloy.. Still, it was the thirties, and that's chub-worthy
