Rotisserie restored Arizona vehicle with 40K miles and is one of only 45 1967 GTX’s built with a 4 speed transmission. WOW...sweet car....and priced at almost half the market value. It just doesn't seem right. :confused:
 
It's a gorgeous car, but it's actually higher than its market value. Only the Hemi E-bodies and NASCAR replicas play in the quarter-million stratosphere anymore. The early Hemi cars have always been the entry level, actually. 12 years ago, when the market was much stronger on these cars, Stretch and I looked at a factory red/black top & gut '66 Hemi Satellite 4-speed car that was a bare roller. Everything was there to finish it beyond minor panel replacement, including a date coded block (which is as "numbers" as you're gonna get in '66). Asking price was $24,000, partially because the guy knew it wasn't a six-figure car even in the Platinum tent.

The level of detail here makes the price about right for an absolute top-shelf restoration. A more typical restoration would drop that by $20K or more.
