1967 Plymouth Barracuda - $18,900 - Atlanta, GA - Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback, a great looking driver with a rebuilt engine. The car just underwent a photo-documented restoration; it started as a dry, straight and complete example. The 'Cuda was de-trimmed and stripped down for paint, and saw many new rubbers and gaskets, new upholstery and carpet. Floor pans and rockers are in good original condition with no known rust.
The interior shows well with new carpet and upholstery; gauges are in good original condition, and all gauges are working (including the neat "performance indicator" which is essentially a vacuum gauge). The cargo area behind the rear seat is expandable; a trap door opens into the trunk and the rear seat back folks flat to reveal a large storage area.
Under the hood is a date-correct (believed to be original) 273 cubic inch V8 with fewer than 500 miles on a full rebuild. With an automatic transmission, power steering and power brakes, the car runs and drives well. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and maintains a clean and correct look, with the only upgrade from stock being an aluminum radiator.
Thanks to the fastback design with no B pillar and small C pillars, the second-gen Barracudas have excellent visibility with no blind spots. It's the essence of what a pony car should be -- small, light, V8-powered, easy to own and drive.

They used all the interior paint in the engine compartment, and had to use the engine compartment paint in the interior because of it. It looks like a very nice ride overall, though. I'm not a fan of the undercarriage treatment, but the Rallyes actually look OK on this one. Unfortunately, they apparently think it's an E-body because it's priced nearly $10K too high.

soooooo much cheep n wrong its disgusting..as for the underbelly...my red 67 looks EXACTLY like that and is factory

If it were a Formula S, w/383, 4-gear he might reach the asking price. (after correcting some issues )

I've always liked the 2nd gen fastbacks. I ordered a bright blue '68 w/383 4-gear back in late '67 but had to back out when I found out how much insurance would cost a teenager with a not-so-good driving record. :(
