1967 AMC Rebel

1967 AMC Rebel - $12,500 - Crystal Lake, IL - Rare car (1 of only 1,686 Rebel convertibles made in 1967). 290 V-8. Automatic on the column. Blue with black top, and dark blue interior. Power convertible top, powersteering, manual drum brakes. The original AM radio still in the dash where it's supposed to be, Antenna needs to be hooked up.. Runs strong. Shifts nicely. SOUNDSgood and this is the nicest and best priced muscle car convertible you will find!!!! I haven't had it long, but I've enjoyed cruising with it and showing it a few times. It getsa lot of attention. It's not just another Ford/Dodge/Chevy. I was told it has 52,000 original miles, but I don't have the documentation to prove it. Very solid car, with norust. Underneath is clean and solid. Older restoration (was restored sometime in the late-90's to early 2000's). It got bodywork, new paint, newly upholstered interior. Itstill looks great, but the restoration it went through wasn't a concourse restoration. Interior is not original material unfortunately.. Top and boot are very nice. Theexterior is very respectable. I am VERY picky so it is a nice car. Certainly not a 100-point show car, but overall it's a good looking, very good running/driving cruiser thatyou just won't see another one of very often. A good friend has a '67 Rebel ragtop with a 4 speed, which is supposed to be something like 1 of 7. And he would never consider asking a price that outragious. :dgt:

I am VERY picky...

...except for things like $19 gauge sets, the underbody being a disaster, crappy exhaust, and use of the space bar. :doh:

Boy, there's no doubt that the person responsible for this design had some interaction with the folks responsible for the '68 Mopar B-bodies, is there?
