1966 Plymouth VIP - $6,500 - Londonderry, NH - 1966 Plymouth Fury VIP 4 door hardtop
70891 mileage (believed original)
318 cu in V8 engine
Air Conditioning, Power steering, Power brakes Automatic transmission.
All original interior in excellent condition, dash not cracked, all gauges, radio and clock working.
I purchased this car sight unseen from a dealer in Colorado, he told me the car was "the cleanest Fury he had seen", and I wasn't disappointed. It is very clean, original paint on all but the right side of the car. Some (hand) touchups. All very solid, no rust throughout. Some very light rust coloring on the trunk floor (see pictures).
I have replaced the steering gear as it was leaking, upgraded the Air conditioning to meet codes, brakes and other minor work.
I believe that I am the third owner and have had it garaged for the last 17 years. This car is originally from Wyoming,
The vehicle runs well no oil leaks or burn, but it hasn’t been driven more than 100 miles a year recently and needs to be checked thoroughly before doing so.
This vehicle is in good condition overall and completely operable. The exterior paint, trim, and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out.
I would be happy to discuss the price, I would really like to get this out of my garage before winter.

No matter how well it's preserved, it's still just a very low desirable parts car, or a low-buck driver.

Hey, the dash isn't cracked... so that's a huge bonus on a car equipped with a dash that cracks so rarely, I think I've seen a total of two that needed replacing.

Great entry-level hobby car at $1,500, but a lot more likely to sell as a parts car for $1,000 to someone with one worth saving.
