1966 Plymouth Sport Fury - $24,900 - Holland, MI - Through the mid-sixties a Full-Size hardtop with an available large displacement V8 became popular, Plymouth re-designed the Fury lineup with this body style in 1965. The Sport Fury we have for sale is overall a very clean car both inside and out.
The exterior of this Sport Fury looks great; the solid body features straight panels, very nice paint, trim and seals are all in very good shape, chrome bumpers are very nice, lights and lenses all look great, and how can we forget the period correct 15'' Cragar S/S Wheels with newer tires. The interior is very crisp with vinyl on the seats in excellent condition throughout, door panels look excellent, headliner looks to be new, dashboard has custom red stripe, AutoMeter Gauges, and Alpine CD Player. The engine is a newly rebuilt 383ci V8 with Edelbrock 4 Barrel Carb, Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold, aluminum radiator, Hedman Headers, and power steering. We also have the original Production Broadcast sheet for this car along with some vintage Chrysler promotional photos.

This is a 1966 Fury. Apparently they did not get the memo that '66 C-bodies do not command this kind of money unless they have both a clutch pedal and a folding top. The badly-done interior butchery, "ordered-cheapest-bolt-ons-with-name" engine, repeating Optimus-Prime tin-foil trunk, and hysterical exhaust system/transmission cooler arrangement are not helping. Also, if you're going to ask this kind of money, you could at least make the effort to find the dust shield for the torque converter.

Slapdash flippery at it's finest. This is an $8,000 car.
