You're a generous man. 'Bout a decade or so back, a local feller took $600 for a more-solid '67 Polara 'vert with a 383HP. White, red gut, black top (which was admittedly shot). It needed a lot of work, yes, but returning it to the road wasn't much beyond a set of tires and a tuneup... and prices were much higher back then. It wasn't a typical MI car, either. Metal-wise it was pretty solid.
