Some peeps may comment about how many Studes are listed for sale these days, but I think the real amazement is that this many actually survived this long. :huh:
 
By the mid-'50s, the only people that remembered Studebaker as a great marque were nearing or beyond retirement age. "My grandfather drove Studebakers with his horse team, Dad drove Studebakers, and this is my third Studeba" and he dropped dead of old age. Car had 14K miles on it and his kids wouldn't drive it to a goat-fuckin'.
