Gawd, that looks like a fun driver. :giggedy: I know you couldn't build it for that, but $33,500 is still many fishes. :(
 
I don't know about the "build it for that" statement. You couldn't pay someone to build it for that, no doubt. There certainly isn't much tied up in the engine. He's all about dropping names, so it's safe to assume they're $200 Chinese rockers. The hypereutectic pistons could be had for about that same money six or seven years ago. No mention of rods, crank, porting, etc. So, carb-to-pan we're looking at what, a $3,000 build? $3,500? Maybe a grand in the transmission including the converter, but I doubt that very much. Where's the other $55,000 he dropped? Paint, body, Cal-Tracs, headers and axle shafts?

It's a nice car, no doubt, other than the wheels. And $33,000 wouldn't be obscene with more engine... but for what appears to be a stockish rebuild with glass pistons? Nah. Knock 10 grand off and we're closer to realistic.
