I'm not sure you'd win any races in a '62 Newport Wagon. I'm not sure I care.. It's awesome, save for the stupid chrome wheels and whitewalls. However, 33 large isn't making my panties drop..
 
I think the spoked rims are classy looking, and the whitewalls would be period correct. :huh:
 
I don't think I mind the spoked rims as much as I do the brightwork on them I think they look too modern all blinged out, and they pull your eye away from the design insanity happening just above. Maybe if the whitewalls were fatter, but that's 50/50 hit or miss for me too. Fat whitewalls are a case by case basis for me.. You could have two of the same year cars sitting next to each other with fat whitewalls on them, and I'll like one, and not the other. It's a total package thing, I guess.
