1961 Chrysler New Yorker

Judging by the zip ties for the keys, I'm guessing the seller probably has a string through his jacket sleeves so he doesn't lose his mittens. :D

The gold on the hubcaps is atrocious as is the blacked-out steering wheel. I'm sure the latter is a lazy man's way of hiding the huge cracks in it, but you can't hide the fact that it's not even a Chrysler wheel. A high-end Chrysler would've had the "flattened" wheel; the one in the car is either from a Windsor or, more likely, a base Dodge or Plymouth.

It's a pretty cool car; '61 Chryslers have always been a favorite. I'm not a fan of the red, though, and the photographer's skill in hiding the quarters in shadow was not enough to conceal some pretty sad-looking body repairs in them.
