1961 Chrysler Imperial - $34,500 - Sioux City, IA - 1961 Chrysler Imperial

A truly iconic outrageously styled car from the 60's. Imperial "Crown" model. In storage and pampered for many years. This is as original and well preserved as they get. No patch job, no amateur restoration project here! Nice paint and bright work, original interior with out fault. Typically Imperial loaded including, converted cold air, power windows, seat, steering and brakes. Working radio and power antenna. Check out the like new seat of high dollar wire wheels and wide whites, including the spare.

Ya ever notice that there seems to be a lot of green "survivor" cars? :hmmm:

That's probably because no one wanted to be seen driving one. :bwuhaha:

and here i am kicking myself for not buying the PAIR of them back in the 90s for 1200$..a 2dr and a 4dr...i just couldnt get over the "fake" spare tire...and one of them was the cross ram

Interesting that a "survivor" car has the wrong color engine in it. It should be black with the gold air cleaner. Imperials never had red engines. They were silver through 1958, black '59-'61, and turquoise until the advent of Corporate Blue. I would guess this is an older restoration with either an engine swap or a rebuild under its belt. To me, that about halves the price.

Those sill plates and fender emblems give me a stiffy, though.
