1959 Studebaker Scotsman - $7,000 - Hampstead, NH - 1959 Studebaker Scotsman Pickup Truck. Serial Number # 175. This is a fairly rare truck as this body was only made 2 years. Pictures show the truck in STOCK form and current. The truck has undergone a total makeover.The original drive train was removed, with the plan of putting in a crate 350 w/ a 700R4 transmission.The old suspension was removed and the frame has been boxed, Fatman IFS installed, Fatman 4 link suspension in the rear with a brand new Currie 9” rear end w/ 3.73 ratio. The truck now sits about 5 inches lower than stock. Wildwood Disk brakes installed front and rear. Body work has just been completed on the cab and the doors. Front fenders and the bed still needs some work. Have some fender sections and a brand new tailgate and wheel holder. Have all glass w/some new rubber seals.
