1951 Plymouth Belvedere - $12,000 - Aurora, CO - 1951 Plymouth Belvedere Coupe, I have been asked to sell this great car for the family that has owned it since new and the appreciative driver was an Air Force engineer and pilot. It has been garaged and it is an unmodified time capsule with no rust or exposure issues. When the owner passed in 1985 it remained un-used until 2012 when the widow spent over $4,000 at a reputable shop to make the needed repairs. It was still garaged and not driven but started about once a month. Yes this type of car ownership story does still occasionally exist.
The flat six runs smooth and is impressively quiet and has no oil burning. The shop passed the compression test and the list of repairs includes a rebuilt radiator, rebuilt carb, rebuilt brake master cylinder, brake hoses, brake wheel cylinders, hoses, boiled gas tank and more.
The interior is in very good condition. The electrical is good but the gas guage does not work, possibly a ground issue. The body is solid but it does have a few normal use dents and scratches, the trim condition is very good. It needs the original gas cap. The two flat windshields have some cracks but since they're flat the replacement will be a low cost.
The twin electric horns are so loud it's like something off a locomotive. This is a really cool car.
(Thanks but no trades offers can be considered)

I don't mind the front styling, and even the rear's OK. What falls between looks bland and bloated, though. Sadly, the $4,000 spent probably removed more of the "time capsule" stuff than anything that had been done in its first 61 years.
