1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe - Inquire - North Canton, OH - Modern drivetrain, road manors, and comfort. V-8, auto tran, A/C professional restoration and build.Car was bought from a Flordia dealer in 2006. Owner had looked for five years to find the right car and now the plan would begin. The direction was build to win shows, hearts, and run at highway speeds after receiving a professional restoration and drivetrain update. ( See receipts in pictures)
* 318 V-8 with 4 barrel carb- (Mopar)
* 727- Auto trans- (Mopar)
* 70 Cuda rear end (Mopar)

* Power rack and pinion steering

Paint-
* Great example of a very professionally finished vehicle where the paint is extremely smooth, shiny, and matches all the way around.
* We did not detect any nicks or scratches. Though there could be , we where not able to locate one.
* According to the receipts car received a clear coat as well.
Body-
* Very straight and the fits seem very correct.
* We did not find any dents or creases on the body of the car, and it appears very professionally done.
Engine and Transmission-
* Rebuilt 318 V-8 Mopar Engine. - see receipts
* Transmission had been internally inspected. ( 727 Mopar)
* The detail of the installation and all the related components are again of the up most quality and detail. (See Pictures)
* Pay particular attention to the painted components under the hood as well as each nut and bolt and its installation.
* Also notice the mounting and detail in the wiring as well as the air conditioning.
* New complete wire - harness installed in car
Bright Work-
* Bright work on the car is and has the appearance of a car that is new or almost bran new, as a result of it being either re-chromed or professionally recondition, and meticulously installed just as it should be.
* This includes the hand painted red accent that much of the chrome had received.
Glass-
*According to the receipt and the owner it appears that all the glass in the car had been replaced during the restoration. (Except rear window)
* We don’t see any discoloring or damage to the glass that we can notice of any shape or form.
* Inside tinted film installed on side and rear glass.
Interior-
* All cloth components where replaced and with the exception of black color in seats and carpeting, redone as close to OEM as possible.
* The headliner is all intact with the stitching in new condition.
*Same is true for the visors, seats, and door panels.
*You will also notice, the inserts that where expertly reproduced (the rectangular inserts) on the doors, just below the window.
* Dash and wood have been beautifully redone.( Wood grain same as when built)
* You will also notice the quality of the steering wheel, as we had removed the cover for inspection.
* All the gauges and switches show as almost new.
Trunk-
* All cloth and painted areas are completely restored, with the highest of detail.
Tires and Wheels-
* Coker 600R 16 with 3” inch white walls.
* Tires are in almost new condition and beautifully detailed.
* There is no cracking or damage to the Tires or the Wheels and they are very striking.

Chassis-
* Chassis is mostly with a black coating with no signs of rust perforation.
* Floor appears to have no rust perforation.
* Owner indicated that the floor board on the passenger side has had some minor repair.
*The rear end is painted in more of a gloss black
* Notice that it does have front disc brakes as well as a power rack and pinon steering,with upgraded new shocks and a 727 automatic transmission
* Master brake cylinder has been relocated on the bottom side of the floor boards with accompanying fuel lines and brakes lines.
* Complete new dual exhaust all the way to the rear. Required some interesting forming and bending to get mufflers in place.
* There is a transmission cooler located near the bottom side of the left running board.
*The front main seal and the rear end all appear to have no dripping.
* Engine was rebuilt prior to installation and probably why it looks so dry, fresh, and newly done.
Test Drive-
Chad drove car with the owner noting it drives so much like a modern car. It was very fun and car handles and preforms very nicely! With the components that where installed to make it drive and have the comfort of a late model car.
Mechanical- Owner and Chad tested many components, including the A/C which cooled very well. Owners comment was that's he believed everything on the car is working properly, and thats because he had replaced one bulb last week after looking his car over.
