1939 Studebaker - $39,000 - Carson, CA - This unique 1939 Studebaker custom pick-up (built by Krative Rod Works in Arizona) utilizes the widely available Chevrolet S series pickup truck as the donor vehicle to be used as the rolling chassis. It is powered with a 383ci V8 stroker Chevrolet engine and a turbo 350 automatic transmission. It has 4 wheel disc brakes including, Power Baer front calipers with cross drilled and slotted disc rotors. This pick-up includes an Air Ride Technologies rear air ride suspension, coil over front shocks, a 4-link rear suspension, a 9 inch Ford style Mark Williams modular Aluminum rear end, and a Flowmaster exhaust system. It has 20 inch 295/40 (rear) and 18 inch 235/40 (front) Intro Aluminum wheels with Dunlap St Sport 9000 tires. The Blue exterior, body design is based on the 1939 Studebaker Coupe Express pickup. The radical modern restyling is accomplished with a 4.5 inch top chop, 8 inch bed channel, 6 inch front clip channel and a 4 inch bed section which has been completely rolled & filled. It has shaved & filled doors, integrated running boards, seamless cab, frenched lights & muted trim. The gray interior includes power windows, vintage air-conditioning, Autometer gauges, B & M shifter, Lecara steering wheel and an Orion Xtreme Amplifier with Alpine AM/FM/CD player.
