160 miles 3 junkyards and still....

This space for rent
..no suitable seating to be had for the 66. I trudged though the snow a better part of the day and came up empty handed. [smilie=s:
The first 2 yards allowed me full access and I made good use of it...if I see one more friggin gray/dark gray seat. [smilie=e:
Good choices were to be had, for a 4 door. [smilie=r:

The 3rd yard I visited had the seats I really want, black leather from a Pontiac GTP but they are in a rebuilder and "We can't sell ya just the seats but you can buy the whole car". Um sure ok..I don't have enough 97 Pontiacs missing the front end laying around. :D
This yard is friggin huge and has kept all the old stuff over the years, bummer is they don't let you roam about on your own. You need to request a part and then are escorted for a "viewing". Prolly a good thing or I will still be wandering around in there. I did request a viewing of a grill for the truck and spotted numerous old mopars lanquishing in the snow. The "old cars" area is closed till the spring thaw and I plan on a return trip. [smilie=w:

I have found another set of the GTP seats across the state, will call tomorrow. There are plenty of these seats to be found it appears but the whole buying site unseen and shipping headaches give me pause. Looks like I will need to be patient.

So what's wrong with all the e-bay auctions I found within driving distance of you? Hmmph [smilie=d:

What, actually buy something from E-bay? [smilie=e:

Perhaps I may try to contact one O dem sellers...

Furrin' cars are one thing, but a Ford? Remember, man, Barney is his bro... we gotta keep this sane.

Looked at 3 of those today jo, one had promise but the stacking of parts on the passenger seat had ruined it.
