15x7 forged alloy wheels

Dr.Jass

Pastor of Muppets
Kevin's going to kill me, but here we go...

Full set of four 15"x7" factory Chrysler forged aluminum wheels. These are the 10-spoke wheels similar in design to what Diplomat Wagon has on his car. They will need to be refinished, and the center caps are missing the "Chrysler Corporation" inserts, and the spring retainers are broken off but I have all the pieces (this is an easy fix with screws or J-B Weld). The wheels are in very good condition, they're just dull-looking.

Not all of these wheels are the stronger, lightweight forged-alloy versions; they switched to cast early in 1981. The picture is of the cast version; the forged wheels have a smooth transition from the spokes to the area that looks like a trim ring.

$350 or make an offer. Shipping is extra; figure $20-$25 per wheel in the continental 48. If I get bored and restore these on my own, they're going to get more expensive.

PM me if interested.

These are the later cast ones but still look pretty good. Funny these were cast as they originally came on ole Myrtle the Cordoba built June of 1980.

I could probably make these really pretty in about half an hour with a brake lathe, a Scotch-Brite pad, and a couple of rattle cans. They're not that rough.

I had two that needed the outer weight lip built back up with a TIG and then machined back down, still very nice for $125/wheel.

These are perfectly straight with no curb rash, much less chunking. They just need to be made pretty.

Do you still have an A-body for your son, or did all that stuff go to Spawn? They'd look sharp on a big-bolt-pattern A-car, particularly a Duster/Demon/Dart Sport.

I sold it all to Spawn, but he just hauled ass to Kentucky for some chick. The D/S is still here in the back yard though, in front of the Charger. I'll probably end up getting it back, but I may just flip it to some A body guy with most of the metal to get it back together, or part it out if it doesn't sell.

The boy still wants a Demon or 70-72 Duster, so...

You're killing me here... a friend of mine had a Rallye Red '71 Twister, black gut, complete except the original engine, that he tried to sell for years. Dual-scoop hood, 8¾", discs, Rallye gauges and floor-shift auto... it even had a perfect shark-tooth grille. The motor wasn't original (it was a 360) but he wasn't asking much for a pretty-clean Southern car, either. It wasn't perfect, but I thought it was a steal at $2,500.

He parted it out, and after 2 years of trying to sell the shell (clear title, VIN, data tags and build sheet), he finally crushed it.

That sucks, I've seen nice grilles pull that kind of money at Carlisle in the last couple years.

I don't want to do anything bad to it, and I hope I don't have to. If I do keep it, I'll do it the way I want with the good looking nose and tail lights. My car my rules :bwuhaha:

I've always agreed with that. Like EFI Ed always says about his car, "If you want to see it restored 100%, buy it from me and do whatever you want with it." No takers so far; then again at this point I'm sure he wants 70 large for it.

I was just thinking, I have that 340 block, an OD833, Stretchy has the conversion pieces. All I need now is an 8 3/4, pedals and a load of body work to have a nice lil A-bod!

That C-body axle housing and shafts I have is the correct one that Moser can narrow. I haven't checked their prices in a while, but I think it was around $300 with shipping a couple of years back.
