Too cold for me, just need reliability.

Everything is stalled for now. Lack of fundage, mainly because I needed to purchase expensive emission garbage for my 250, but I decided to actually fix it so later today my daily will be Canada compliant.

I'll take the wheels and ball joint press. My brother said he'll take the drive up to pick them up for me.

1971 Challenger: The "Spare Parts" Car

I'd love to have another. I'll take any of the original 5 model years, Axis versions do nothing for me.

I loaded it up last night to take it down to apply for a bonded title this morning, the inspector was surprised that it didn't run or have anything connected. I told him it wasn't required to be functional, the motor and transmission just had to be in place so he shrugged and signed off on the...

Well, the 255s were a bust, no big deal though, I got a pair of 275/40/20s on the rear now, they come right to the edge of the wheel well with only the little nubbies protruding. They're stock height, 28" and it shows, I need a good 3-4" drop to properly fill the opening. Hubs have been dropped...

I acquired some new (to me) wheels, 2020 Charger Scatpack 20x9s, in a custom yellow/gold color. I test fitted one, and I'm kinda diggin' the color against the black. I have a pair of 255/40ZR20s enroute, along with the correct oil pan and a new pair of front hubs to have welded and drilled with...

Well, that was fun, but we’re back!

    Thanks DCF!

    Cletus.

Swapped out the crank sensor, total PITA without the 1/4" Allen socket, it's better but still not 100%. I have a set of injectors to toss in next, while I do that I'll replace the plug wires and put on the ported throttle body with a new gasket. I did already replace the plenum gasket. I don't...

Doc, I have a potential crank sensor issue, I needed to get it running without a budget so an Amazon Chinesium special fit the bill. Now I’m driving it more often I want to upgrade, that and I have a P1391 code 🤣. I can never remember which brand to use/avoid. I know there are other pieces...

I’m glad I’m not in that region to deal with that anymore, now I have to deal with crumbly plastic, vinyl and cloth deteriorating. Trade offs I s’pose.

Here's the planned stance, potential wheel size, wider rear tires though. First time I really paid attention to the squared off wheel wells. 3/5 drop on 255/35/20

Here are a couple pics of the package on a regular club cab. Sits way too high for a 2wd semi sportish truck.

Yep, stupid name for a ground effects kit on a lowered truck. I debated on removing it, especially without the front bumper, still may. It is nice having the whole set though.

Still rounding up parts. My brother found a Dakota up his way, west MD, with the Stampede pkg being parted out with a nice front bumper for $150. I doubt y'all have tried to round up one of those, granted it's no Hemi E body, but they're not falling out of trees either.

Progress on the garage, more as the month goes on, once everything has been sorted the Dak will go in and up on stands. Brakes lines are new, so I have somewhat of a pedal now but everything else in hydraulic system is suspect and will be rebuilt or replaced. Same with the steering and...

I have an uncle Rich in south Jersey, but he's a Chevy guy so I doubt he'd even know what he's looking at.

    GM + EV = Bad.

Thank God my 2012 F250 doesn't do that. I've had a CEL on for the DEF heater for about a year and a half now and I've had the DEF heater for almost the same amount of time. Every time I think about doing it, skid plates and fuel tank removal, etc. comes to mind and decide it'll be fine. :ROFLMAO:

    GM + EV = Bad.

This is why I have decided to hang on to my 2000 Ram, that and I'm tired of the 'will you $3k' questions. Besides, since I dumped the sissymatic the number of issues I'll have is drastically reduced. Now I just need a manual trans PCM to get rid of the check engine light.
