Over our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend I finally had a chance to take my Mother In-Law out for a cruise in the Coronet....I'd promised her back around Mothers day that I would but weather, work, holidays and schedules never aligned to make it happen.
Beautiful day for October and...
With all this great idea for the trailer, and the shop I guess I'll have to bump the priority up on all of this. I have vehicles that I will need to move in and out by myself but I also have my 1989 Case 1845C skid steer...named Mud BTW...that gets the job done, but the old girl probably won't...
I was looking at my trailer yesterday after getting the truck off to see where such a rear mounted receiver could go. The darn under trailer mounts to store the ramps are in the way though, but if I lose the center marker light I might be able to recess it there?
What do you use to power the...
Yes the axle, and after doing some measurements, and the spindles are the same. The difference is just in the dually hub itself. So now that we have the SRW hubs it will be an easy swap.
I have everything to do just that, I bought a 12K lbs winch many moons ago but have never used it, I have...
Well after looking into the price of new/used hubs and the other parts required to swap from DRW to SRW on the front axle we decided that it would be cheaper to just find another front axle. Started looking around online and finally came across a guy selling a 92 reg cab W250 roller that had...

Well yesterday we got my son-in-laws 93 W350 clubcab into the shop, wheel nuts cracked loose then up on the lift to crawl around and check things out. Going to need a bunch of work but vast majority is just maintenance stuff that is typically left undone.
I tore apart one of the front hubs...
Nice clean example but I highly doubt he'd get that kind of money for it. And no pics of the motor or engine compartment? I wouldn't want that high strung small block in a big Ol' wagon, kind of wasted on that car to be honest. But as stated a mostly stock 383/440 with a good "RV style" cam...
I know your history with that Imp and can empathize with your attachment to it but to me that would be one of the first to go, at least for me anyhow.
As for a daily...I would choose the 68 Valiant since it is an A-body and would be a cool little run about car, light and cheap on fuel. The...
