Tastes like burning!

My buddy Jake brought me two 1 gallon ziplock bags full of fresh peppers from his garden. There are banana peppers, Super chilis, orange and red habaneros, and jalapenos! I took the Habaneros, and super chilis and cut them up and tossed them in the dehydrator. When they are dryed out I put them in a coffee grinder and turn them to powder then pour the powder in a spice shaker. Right now the house smells of peppers and my eyes are burning. The banana peppers will get pickeled and the jalapenos are going to be cooked with as they are.

Jake tells me he should have another gallon zippy for me next week! I'll be hookin you up Jass!:giggedy:

Oh, I may need to borrow your dehydrator and grinder... I have a neighbor who's going to hook me up with a bunch of jalapeños and habaneros as well. She grew them but refuses to eat them. No one in her family likes hot foods!

I have never experianced the proverbial "flaming toothpicks". :huh: If I ever was going to I'm sure it would have been the morning after the "Gumbo incedent" at Captian Nemos.

I might get some mild burnig on the way out...but mostly it's just gas. :shifty:
