1969 Dodge Charger - $29,990 - Fairfield, CA - This 1969 Dodge Charger (Stock # B1739) is available in our Benicia, CA showroom and any inquiries may be directed to us at 800-600-2262 or via email at Sales@SpecialtySales.com. General Lee Replica Tribute Car Even though the vehicle before you today probably doesn’t need any introduction, it is a 1969 Dodge Charger that was fully restored and built as a General Lee tribute car based on the hit TV show Dukes of Hazard. This iconic sports car features a 44 CI V-8 engine with a 727 automatic transmission under the hood and it runs like a high performance machine. With additions like an Edelbrock 600 carburetor and new Magnum exhaust manifolds, it sounds just as tough as the General Lee that you saw the Dukes driving back in the early 70’s. Amazing Attention to DetailEven more exciting, this 1969 Dodge Charger has been completely restored from bumper to bumper so it looks and performs like a brand new vehicle. The General Lee confederate flag has been painted over the signature orange paint and all of the correct decals can be found on this sports car as well. It also features new General Lee legendary seat covers and several other additions to make this replica dead-on accurate and it is obvious that this was a very high-end restoration. This Charger even has replica “Dixie Horns” to complete the driving experience. A Phenomenal Show Car or Driver Overall, this 1969 Dodge Charger is about as clean as they come and it looks, feels, and drives exceptionally good. The attention to detail in this build is simply incredible and this is one of the nicest period-correct replicas that we’ve seen in some time. Not only are there no pictures, but it's yet another "Dukes of Hazzard" car. I can't be the only one who's extroardinarly tired of people ruining perfectly-good Chargers to emulate a stupid TV show whose plot was identical in every episode.

As much as I love The Dukes of Hazzard and a small part of me would like to have a General Lee, I get really annoyed with people making clones of the damn car! Especially when they jump and wreck them! A '69 Charger is still on my wishlist but, the only way I'd have a General is if I bought one that someone else had already converted to one. Never gonna happen for me either way, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
