These don't sound nearly as appealing as Jass's but I don't think you'll die of a heart attack with this :D Just something I started doing recently and it comes out pretty good. I've never been one to follow a recipe. I just kinda throw stuff together and about 90% of the time it comes out pretty good. Thinking some Jalapenos and frying in bacon grease might be good in this mix as well.

Since I can't cook for just myself, I usually make enough for about 3 or so. Just use what you feel is enough of each ingredient.... pretty simple, basic meal. Nothing special.

• Ground Beef
• Onions
• Green Pepper
• Maggi seasoning or Soy Sauce...whichever you prefer
• Velveeta Cheese
• Garlic (Cloves or the minced stuff in the jar)
• Seasoning Salt ( I prefer Lawrys or Johnny's)
Start with a deep mixing type bowl and pour in a bit of Maggi seasoning dice up some onions & green peppers. Throw in some garlic, a little bit of seasoning salt, and break off some small bits of Velveeta cheese. Mix in the ground beef and blend thoroughly. Smash into patties, cook and eat.

Well you didn't have me at "Bacon" like Jass's recipe.....:D

I have never done my hamburgers with fresh onion or green pepper before..:hmmm:..do you find that they fall apart on the grill? I have always used a handful of oats to help bind everything together.

I use an egg as glue... and I even improved on my Fatburgers though I haven't posted that yet.

What no fire cooked meat....for shame!!!:naughty:
Yeah, I know. I'm the big meat eater of the household and they eat it once in a while....my "little brother" Josh has one though so I'll be spending some quality grilling time at his place this summer I'm sure! :D

he just cant figure out how to use the indoor grill..funny he forgot to mention that.......and yeah you do get fire on it often ...ahh jenair only the best in stove tops

I don't like using that grill for some reason.

Probably because it doesn't use charcoal. Without charcoal, it's not grilling. Period. That's why Burger King says "flame broiled"--because you'd never mistake something cooked over charcoal for something cooked over gas jets or electricity.

That works too! :)

Buddy of mine uses a small pan with "smoking wood chips" set in the bottom of his propane powered BBQ....says it gives it a nice taste, not the same as charcoal but better then straight gas.

I personally use REAL lava rock in my propane powered BBQ, I always use lots of sauce and let the drippings accumulate on the rocks. Then when I'm cooking it helps to give the meat a nice flavor, again not as nice a s charcoal but still decent...IMO. ;) I personally have not tried the wood chips yet.
