This Year's "Merry Mopar Tree"......

We have been collecting the Hallmark automotive ornaments for quite a few years now, the Hemi Cuda was our first (naturally). The only hemi we'll ever be able to afford! LOL.... Then we added the Little Red Express and the '57 Dodge Sweptline. After that came all the "off" brands. The pentastar ornaments were made by a friend of mine in Michigan. A few years back, we bought several strings of the Dodge lights, and use two or 3 of them on the awning of our motorhome when we go to Carlisle and Moparfest. There was one string left over, and every year I have forgotten I had it........but this year I remembered, and this is the first year for them on the tree. :giggedy:

Cool tree. My girlfriend would kill me if I even tried to "defile" her xmas tree with "tacky car stuff" :( But I don't get that into xmas anyways so...:D she is a TOTAL traditional xmas person...doesn't help her bday is the 21st lol.

oooH Nice!

I like the Dodge lights - never come across those before. Where can I get me a set of them? :hmmm:

I have a Rodger Dodger hot Wheels ornament that goes on our tree - that's about it.

you realize that many people would reccommend you for therapy.

Cool tree :)

:)Well, you're probably right, but to me Mopars are like breathing, so why wouldn't I have them on our tree? I know lots of wives who detest their husband's car hobby, but what's the point in that? It's as much my hobby as his, and besides, it's his fault.........he started it! LOL.......... We joke that we stay together for the cars! :bwuhaha:

Well, we got them from Thunder Road Racing, they always have a booth at Moparfest, as well as many other Southern Ontario shows. www.thunderroadracing.ca
I just checked the website and do not see the Dodge lights, but you could e-mail them to see if they are still available. They have a lot of neat stuff. We also have the Dodge BBQ tool set. We got the lights about 3 yrs. ago, so not sure if they are still being made. Good luck, DCF! If I happen to see them anywhere else, I'll let you know. :bravo:

See answer above. Some girls just don't understand the car thing......

My girlfriend totally understands the car thing, and even helps me out every time I'm in the garage... I bet she digs the tree, too--don'tcha, Rosey?

*looks at hand*

Rosey says "thumbs up!"

Oh, that's wild! I've never seen a Hallmark Caravan ornament, and never heard of Enesco. You found that on e-Bay? I gotta look into that...... although I'm not sure Mike would want a Caravan ornament on the tree, those are just supposed to be classics.
