At the drive thru....

Love that Kangaroo catcher on the train. We've considered them here on our trucks for deer. (or Chevettes)

T/C, it could be worse. They could've put you in a Volvo.:shifty:

You mean the Polish Peterbuilts....:shifty:...Yup we have a few of those as well....:(

And those Aussy set-ups arew called "Super Trains"......I'd love to pull a set of those one day...:giggedy:

JC...what is that..a belt buckle??

I wish we had a choice on what trucks we get...a long nose Peterbuilt, Kenworth or Western Star with dual stacks, chrome filters western style smoothie bumper...etc...would make me happier then pig in...well you know...:naughty:;)

Yeah, but that Eagle you're driving was built and fucked up with pride here in South Western Ontario!:giggedy:

A few years ago I would've written International off, but they invested a huge amount of money(Ford designers) in styling, and they've really made a comeback from the overly square(literally) styles they were selling. The key was in not trying to copy the classic truck styling of KW and Pete, but to take a whole different direction, which really shows a lot of retro styling.

I'd love to pull a set of these one day...:giggedy:

Yes indeed. :gaga:

Inter-trash-inal? We buy at least a dozen of those every year and it's an absolute miracle if one of them makes it a year without spending 6 months of it bouncing around between our mechanical guy and international. The last bunch we got, 3 of them had the steering boxes fall out, only one bolt holding them in and no evidence of the others even being installed. I figure the only reason corporate keeps buying them is because they like the monumental maintenance write offs provided by these steaming piles.

Oh, okay........yeah, I remember that one. I'm a Stephen King fan, but that's one of his short stories that I haven't read. Must try and find that one at the video store......
Thanks Matt! :bravo:

The original story is called "Trucks" and it's in a short story collection called "Night Shift" and it's still available. I like him too, he's awesome.

Thanks for the info, Matt. I have a feeling I may have that book somewhere. I know I had a book of his that was all short stories, and "Night Shift" sounds very familiar. Question now is.......where the heck is it? :hmmm:
