Anyway one day I was doing a delivery and things were going slow so I decided to look through the pics on the truck phone and found this pic snapped by one of the other drivers.

my mother..dissabled since 1988 used to go thru the drivethru all the time in her power chair..even at 2am+...was NOT uncommon for her...the kicker was me and a frined would go thru on our bikes and get yealled at and told we could NOT do it this way...mom would roll up in her chair..order and when she got to the window we would roll up on our bikes and she would procede to chew out the crew working the drivethru for refuseing us service!.....fishy should remember such a trip

I thought it was law that all Canadian truck drivers had to drive Western Star. Times change.... Good looking 'binder, though.:)

i just love backing up trains. --- yup. straight trailers ok-- trains are a nightmare until you get onto it. when they tell ya to steer the way uo want the front to go ya rite but it works. ... nice truck. what i have always wanted to do was put a bag of Maxwell house in a trailer then watch the face who sees it. ... oh the fun ya can have when ya got time on your hands. hahaha. ya must have a large route to run a rig like that. stay safe and keep the dirty side down and the clean side up k? later :)

years ago I drove through a drive through at a certain unnamed fast food franchise and there was a man on foot in front of me, they would not serve him on foot, the inside was closed. I told the dude to get in the car and order, god what a crock.
I can see it kinda, if someone on foot or on a bike grabbed the food and ran then there wouldn't be a license number to report

Tim Horton's I've heard of, I give wide berth and a wave to the kwik-star trucks down here.

I love pulling trains...82 feet of joy in my books!!!:giggedy:

And backing them up is an art...and I love every minute behind the wheel.:p

Personally, if Timmy's were to suddenly completely fold up, I think Canada would too........ [smilie=f: We actually have t-shirts that say: "Gimme my Timmy's and nobody gets hurt!" :quaff:

Good man, and one who works for The World's Best. I work for KW myself.:)

JC...what is that..a belt buckle??

I wish we had a choice on what trucks we get...a long nose Peterbuilt, Kenworth or Western Star with dual stacks, chrome filters western style smoothie bumper...etc...would make me happier then pig in...well you know...:naughty:;)

I've had this pic for a while, it's from Australia, but I think they used to run these in Texas a long time ago too.

Mike has told me about these.......un-frikkin' believable! Hmmm, he used to work for Mack a long time ago, too. I have a Mack Bulldog in my kitchen......

Right on, J.C.! Are you a mechanic......oops, they insist they call them "technicians" these days, but Mike INSISTS he's a MECHANIC.......too?
He actually worked for KW once before, from '86-'95, then left to go work for a concrete company as fleet mechanic (mostly Macks), left there 2 yrs. ago, and was lucky enough to get back into KW. He loves it, and his supervisor treats him like gold. As with most automotive related industries these days, things are slow, but they are still "truckin" along.......;)

Nah, I stay clean. I'm an outside salesman. I don't spend much time in the store. I love being out with the customers. If you like the Australian trains, go check out some of the pics at Kenworth of Australia www.kenworth.com.au/

T/C, it could be worse. They could've put you in a Volvo.:shifty:
