B Body fun

J.C. Corbett

or something.....
Okay, so some of you will remember the 78 Power Wagon I was trying to sell a while back to pay some bills. Got it? Good. Anyhow, the pickup never sold, and I managed to pay the bills, so life is good. Last weekend, I went to a buddy's house in Fernley, which was one of the levee break flood victims, to help him powerwash the underside & interior in some of his cars, plus pull all of the drums, and clean the mud out of the brakes. You cannot believe how much mud was packed in these cars. Anyhow, another gentleman from down the street came over to help, also, and we began to talk cars. As it turns out, this man is looking for a nice original pickup, but has no cash, and needs to trade. Soooo, I asked him what he has to trade, to which he replies, "a 70 Sport Satellite. Come on, let's go look at it." Buried in his garage is one of the cleanest, straightest, rust free cars I've seen in a while.:giggedy: We made a deal on the spot, and I'll go pick it up on Saturday, and yes, I'll have pictures.

Here's what it is. Dark bronze, almost brown, white vinyl top, tan bucket seat interior, rebuilt 383, and air. The original paint is shot, as is the interior, but the car is in overall great shape, and comes with a Road Runner hood. Once again, pictures this weekend.:bravo:

An original paint, rust free, Sport Satellite for the equivalent of $6 k ?

You did real good there. :bravo:
