The paint fumes have cleared so I'm
HRSDC approved my application for moparguy to work in Canada:giggedy::giggedy::giggedy::giggedy:.
I should get the letter of confirmation early next week.


Now we got to get him used to Tim's, Zeller's, our funny way of spelling everything with u's and q's and saying "eh" after every sentence.
He'll never get used to ORVIL.

I will never spell things with a q or a u. cause it just aint right. and im not french. ;) i probably will end up saying Eh though. crap.

Looking forward to getting to work. I havent worked in 2 weeks. and im slightly antsy here. hunting helped me not freak out though.:cool:

We were working on this car when the owner took sick, never did get to finish it. Sadly, he passed away from brain cancer.
Someone down Chatham way had done a ton of sheetmetal fabricating on it, but nothing lined up. I spent 4 or 5 days just aligning and trueing up the gaps - loads of pushing, twisting, bending, welding and trimming to get it to where it was workable.
Northstar powered, air ride, power everything, and of course, very good panel alignment, would have made it one sweet ride.
Not sure what happened to it. :(

don't make me give you a customary Canadian immigration greeting of a 4x4 across the face. It isn't french you farttard, it is proper Engrich. sigh. so much to be teaching grasshopper. ;)

oh, did I forget to mention that every Friday before paycheques are given out, we have our own version of "Are you smarter than a Canadian bodyman"?
It's basically a spelling bee - toque, cheque, labour are some examples. Failure means I keep the paycheques. :toot:

haha figured youd get a rise out of that. it took long enough to learn american english. i dont wanna learn english english. im too old to learn a new language.;)

i always did suck at spelling.:(


i never dealt with any lasalles either. it just looks foreign to me. with the real tall front grille.

oh ya, just so i know, what in the heck is a toque? it looks like you mispelled torque to me. wait, thats what you guys call the stocking caps right?

Gadzooks NO! Nobody calls them stocking caps anymore. They're simply melon covers worn in cold weather, so our proper English speaking and thinking brains don't get frost bitten in our Northern clime.
Don't worry, you'll catch on after you forfeit a couple paycheques. :)
 
no....a toboggan is a long wooden sled. which never go as fast as the old school runner sleds. but they fit more people.

looks like a stocking cap to me. i can accept melon cover though. that works for me.
