do I transfer money from my credit card to my chequing account?

The school I was withdrawn from refunded a substantial amount of money to my Visa card, which I had already paid off, so now there's a credit on my Visa card. Online banking won't let me transfer the funds to my savings or chequing account

So now I'm missing out on daily interest.

what can I do? Talk to the bank on Tuesday?

It's easy.

Give me your credit card # and I'll take care of it for you...:toot:

I was thinking the exact same thing. :)

Jester, do you have any cheques from Visa for cash advances? Mastercard issues them, not sure about Visa.

oooh visa cheque! good idea, write myself a cheque and hopefully that'll do it.

I'll go to the bank tomorrow anyway and see what my options are.

thanks!

That C-H-E-C-K, not cheque. (Where did those Canadians learn to spell? :wtf: Why would anybody in their right mind want to ADD letters to a word and make it even MORE difficult to spell? Must be something in that hi-octane beer they drink.)

From our (and your) country's ancestral lineage: in England!
Ya know ENGLand where they speak ENGLish!

It's you lazy colonists (heheh, I said colon) that have smirched the Mother tongue!

AHEM, HARUMPH! Brewhaha! Bloody Hell! Yes, well. Very well then, time for tea. Get me my gin and tonic, will you?

This one pisses me off.... eh?

Mortgage interest is not tax-deductible. The interest rate on most mortgages is not fixed, but rather, is renewed at the end of a term which can be as short as six months or as long as seven years.

Let's see, now. If a Limey gets in line to purchase something, he's in the "Que". Pronounced 'Q'. So is "cheque" pronounced 'che-q'? If you're playing billiards, do you strike the 'que' ball? When you break out the old (or is that olde?) vinyl albums, do you "que" one up on the turntable? When you drink Canadian beer, do it take fewer beers to get a buzz?

"why is American beer like making love in a canoe?"

Because it's f'n close to water!

read the fine print on those "advance cheques!!!!!!

nasty evil, they get paid last and with the most interest.

You silly 'Mericans.
Check is something you do to your oil.
Cheque is something you write when you forget to check your oil.

Bye the bye, old chaps. That large woman who until recently hosted a TV variety show is my second cousin.
Tim Horton was a distant cousin to my Dad.

*my claim to fame. that and $1.65 will get me a large double-double.*

wow. you ARE getting screwed....I pay $1.39. :D Eata Bigmeal is your cousin? Innneresting.

:)
Red Green called her show "The road to Sarah Lee". :)

Forgive me for the wrong price on the Timmy's. I usually let someone else buy.:toot:

The line bit is right, everything else is a cue... Engrish vewy simpole rangrage. :shifty:

Contrary to most beliefs, the alcohol content in Canadian and American beer is generally the same. It's just measured and reported in a different way. (Thanks, Jass)

Canadian beer is just better tasting.... :p
I think the "stronger" notion comes from the fact that we, generally speaking, use more hops than what's used in brewing the average murraykin beer.

But if ya talk Brador, well then, now you're talkin about "How can I get beyond buzzed with the least amount of money spent... 'cause I need tha extra mo-nee fer da lay-dees down at da eroteek, eh? tabernaque!"
