My Mopar Nats report

Had a good time despite the heat and too many golf carts. I ran my Aspen kit car in the Trophy Race bracket. Had consistent time trial runs (Best was a 16.9; had runs of 17.2, 17.5, 17.52). WOn my first elimination round because the other guy red-lighted (I don't what he was thinking as his dial-in was 13.5 and despite my head start I wasn't that far ahead). Lost the second round by .09 seconds--I was so close to the finish line and thought I had it, but the other guy just nosed me.

red lite district? and finish line? ok!! you like guy,s who red lite for the finish line. and then you beat them.... sounds like something out of the dark ages...i knew you were tough Dustergirl but this is wild.....lol

too many golf carts??? no way! I went in 2000 and there were enough that I wondered if they were playing golf on horseback that weekend.

Way too many of those phockers there, Greggles was nearly mowed down by some a$$hole Don Imus wannabe lookalike while we were perusing the swap area. I guess walking wasn't fast enough for this guy. I was tempted to go rent one myself, hunt the guy down, and run him into a wall or something....

:bwuhaha:-- so what stopped ya? its a GOLF cart turn the key and go --it wasn,t a grocery cart where you have to stand in line to get one.......

I think the thought of 69 bucks an hour would let the anger simmer a bit:huh:
