Did you guys see the GSS Dart thing in MA?

Maybe I am way off base here, but I read the article thinking how cool the cars were and then when I get to the end... 150K????? Are they higher than me? (which is hard considering the mix of THC and oxycodone I am enjoying)

Even in my deliciously altered state, I am taken aback! That seems like WAY too much. What am I missing here?
 
nope you read it right..and you will notice the big words "for very special enthusiests"....translates into for the more dollors than cents ppl who see them as nothing more than status symbols and profit margins
 
They are calling this crap "continuation" cars, in that the same people are using the same parts and same methods to "continue on production. Its really a huge scam in that they milk every dollar out of you and the cars are brand new and depreciate as quick or quicker than the real 38 year old examples. Look at the "continuation" Shelbys. Sold for huge coin and cannot garner 1/2 of their sticker price. Good on them!
 
Besides, why spend 40 grand on bodywork when if it was to be really authentic-looking, it should conserve some of the imperfections... like Vette guys that put the waves into the paint of older ones to maintain "that factory look".

On the other hand, the 5 speed conversion on the Charger was cool!
