I'm rethinking the whole move thing.

I am still considering the new software.

The new server isn't all that I thought it was. Who'd a thunk that "upgrading" would net you less resources..
Dedicated resources, yes. But less... errrmm... none the less

shrug..but moparnut spamming me with new stuff today is annoying
4pages of "new posts" in the last like 30 mins?!?!?!?!?..and while i was able to turn off specific forum areas in the past i cant find a way to turn this one off

I was just putting some new feeds in place now and I had to run the update process a couple of times.

The new feeds are excluded from the New Posts search results. So, you shouldn't see that again - unless I screw around with the feeds again .

Weird. The exclusions seem to only work if you click "New Post" twice..

So, that new software mentioned above is not what I ended up using here.

What we have here now is what was created by a bunch of people that left the old software company and created their own.
No plans for an arcade, but otherwise it has turned out to be a solid forum platform.
