I picked up my 300 yesterday. :2thumbs:

It's a project, she's got some rust, lower quarters, trunk floor, left front fender, hood, decklid and the front valance is all but gone. It's mostly complete, missing the front seat and motor and trans.

The glass was intact until the last snow storm that came through south jersey, big chunk took out the back window. :( For $300 I think I did ok.

I was heading over to my uncle's to snap a few pics to post, but I slipped on a piece of wet wood and dropped all my weight on my right knee, in a stone driveway. So I'm spending the afternoon icing my knee, playing games on my stupid phone.

Hate it for you, man... that being said, moving south sucks out all of one's ability to navigate shitty weather. :D My friend was home last month, during bitter cold and snowy conditions. He openly admitted he'd completely forgotten how to walk, drive, whatever in this weather after 17 years.

It was in the rain of all things. My in laws have 4X4's on either side of their driveway and they're both covered with an algae like growth, and when they get wet they're slicker than a skating rink.

I was just starting to feel good, barely a limp and I fell again. This time I felt something tear. I'm screwed for a while now...

Do we have to wrap you in bubble wrap???
Knee injuries suck, my daughter fell during a cross country meet and had a nasty bruise INSIDE her knee that took forever to heal.
Hope you feel better soon!

Dude, you taking a page out of my book, tripping over everything???

Been to a Doc?

Stop testing gravity! I assure you it works and will continue to do so. :D
Get well soon man!:bravo:

I used to fall down a lot...........................

.................but I don't drink that much anymore. :toot:

Falling down sucks -

A little better than a year ago, I slipped on the ice and whacked the back of my head really, really hard. Suffered a concussion that kept me in headaches that literally altered my personality for months...And I still think I've left a part of me behind that I haven't quite been able to get back....did all the doctor and massage therapist things and still, stuff ain't quite right sometimes. I'm quicker to temper and the part of me that analyses problems and learns new things isn't always there.

Anyways, last week, I slip again. Don't go straight for my noggin this time and manage to catch my knee and right hand before thunking my head just above my right temple. Didn't hit it too hard, but I'm sure the shock shook loose things that hadn't completely healed up, cuz it feels just like 8 - 10 months ago.

I hate falling down.

I hate it for you, man. I have a friend with knee issues going back to when he was a kid. It's no fun.

The bright side? It's not your clutch leg. :D

Because of my back, I've turned falling into an art form. I never land on it; just about everything but it and my melon has taken the brunt of gravity. Ask Stretch about the air-tank incident. To hear him tell it, my feet came up to the level of my head before I started downward motion. He was sure I wasn't getting back up, maybe ever.

I can sympathize... hit my head off of a concrete floor more than two years ago and am still dealing with concussion effects. Headaches come a LOT easier and much more frequent than they did before. :(

No, no dr. No $$$ and no insurance, not fond of parasites and don't wanna be one. Though if it were one of the kids I'd bite the bullet. I'll just lay back and relax, pop some Aleve and use ice when necessary.

I have a PS3 and GTA V, so I'm good for a bit :D.

Seriously though I have so much crap to do with stuff in the garage to sell and organize I doubt I'll be laid up for long.

69, Resto and Nodda (no particular order) I'm hating your head injuries and Doc, take it easy on your back dude. Thanks for the well wishes. :2thumbs:

sit down and veg damnit.....thats what i..well..try to do...and thus have dragged just about every bike in the house to keep busy..but "light" busy

Over the years I've had too many concussions to remember, I lost count somewhere after the 7th or 8th. Luckily there are no residual effects. I can't remember ever having a headache, even from hangovers.....but maybe you need a brain to have a headache. :hmmm:

Nope, no effects at all.......:Fresh Meds::fallendowndrunk::felant:

i too have suffered many...but well...severity makes all the differance in the world..same goes for the rest of the body mangling ive done over the years...one must know when to take it easy

...severity makes all the differance in the world..

The worst one had me unconcious for about 12 hours and I barely had strength to lift a hand for over 3 days. Memory loss is almost a full 24 hours prior to the concussion..

I lost about an hour after smacking my head the first time. Not unconscious - I walked up the stairs to my desk and waited for my co-worker to arrive an hour later. I have absolutely no memory of that hour. Most of the rest of the morning we spent on a job-site, which is fuzzy as well. I do remember walking across the road to Timmy's for coffee.:D

I can't win for losing.

I was hobbling downstairs this afternoon and my knee went from sore and stiff to a rubber band and down I went. I tumbled 6 or 7 steps and now I have a sore hip, elbow and shoulder. I need a whole bunch of bubble wrap now...
