No not the TV show, my wife in my Dakota... She slid off the road in the snow and ice this morning, hit a couple trees and ended up in a ditch. I looked at the truck and it looks tweaked, probable frame damage. I the insurance adjuster is going to look at the truck tomorrow...:helpme:

She's ok, a little sore, bruised knees and she broke the bone in her hand that attaches to her pinky, otherwise :bravo:

Well, the important thing is that the wife's mostly unharmed... glad to hear that.

Damned shame about the truck, though. Didn't you just get that? Something's definitely twanged, though I'm certainly not the guy to ax whether it's the frame or the cab itself.

Glad to hear the wife's OK. There's more of those trucks out there.
Now lets see pictures of the wife.

yup, in June... I just bought an 00 R/T club cab, (pickin it up on Sat.) she was going to take over that truck.

Hand injuries suck... you don't realize how much all those little bones and tendons in your hand interact until you break something. Highest hopes and best wishes for her speedy recovery.

Look on the bright side--unlike my ex, your wife has sore knees for legitimate reasons. :D

Again, glad she's essentially OK. Machines can be replaced.

i thinl the headlite is in the rite place for a cutom look . good for going down driveways put a set for straight ahead and fix the otherside to look like the drivers side and away you go. put a plow on the front for snow and by the end of the season the whole trck will look the same. -----------I am really glad your wife is ok. sya hi to Capt. Crunch for us and tell we wish her a speedy reovery. .. yup take the insurance money and put the truck to work--- you,d never know the difference.. --:toot:i do really like the driveway lites...

Ouch, glad she was not seriously injured. :helpme:

As for the truck it's certainly fixable, I had one in the shop in waayyy worse shape a while back, some quality time on a frame machine and it's back on the road now.

Doooh....

But glad to hear the better half is mostly OK....sucks your new-er truck got wrecked but as mentioned, it's only a machine.;)

Yeah, I know, but that's up to the insurance co. They already said ANY frame damage and it's totaled. it's not worth enough to spend the time and $$$ to rebuild it. I'll get the final word today.

Thanks for the kind words ya'll

Looks like you fed someone a knuckle sandwich :) I'm glad it wasn't worse. Too bad about your new truck though.

It's totaled!!! It's worth $5500, they stopped counting after $5900 with more visible damage... thank God for gap insurance. Gonna have Spawn swing by tomorrow and grab my "M" hood emblem and tonneau cover. They're going on the R/T, which I'm picking up on Sat A.M.
