Working on the new stuff

Last week I changed the oil in the new truck. I also serviced the trans and added the 2 extra quarts that are recommended to extend the life on the NV5600. Gonna get the rear taken care of this weekend. While I was in there I removed the "turbo silencer ring" and pulled the silencer out of the intake tube. I serviced the air filter, it has an Airraid now, but I'm going to make up my own CAI and use a paper filter so I don't prematurely dust my turbo. I also picked up a headache rack and modified my tool box and installed it as well.

A few planned upgrades are blacked out headlights, LED tails and 3rd brake light. I also want to lower the rear about 2" so it sits level. I want to put some 18" on it wheels because there seems to be more tire choices. I want get a sprayed in bedliner and have the seat fixed and the console recovered. Then there is that little issue with the cracked up dash...

:D

I had to down size, but I'm loving the increased economy. I'm averaging about 20 mpg now. The Ford was averaging about 13.5-14 mpg, huge improvement, those numbers are hand calculated btw. The 6 speed is much nicer than the auto, but it would be cool if I had one more gear, she's turning about 2100 RPMs in 6th with the stock 265/70/17's. I'd like to put a little taller and wider tire on it all the way around.
